Heard-Padgett Collection
Both Martin Padgett and Ken Heard are avid readers. When they moved to Toronto they kept about 90 shelf meters of books, and donated most of their Gay and Lesbian books and periodicals to the Pride Library at the University of Western Ontario, where it is now known as the Heard-Padgett collection.
Francis Li, Portraits of Couples, p. 68
The Heard-Padgett Collection consists of nearly 200 books and periodicals on a range of different topics such as gay history, politics, biography, and spirituality. The Collection also includes mystery novels, short stories, and essays by gay authors.
